Sika® Separol® W-398 C is a concentrate emulsified blend of purified mineral oil and non-hazardous chemicals, specially formulated to produce release properties which are superior to those of conventional mould oils. Sika® Separol® W-398 C is supplied as a water soluble liquid prior to direct application on formwork. The chemically reactive components in Sika® Separol® W-398 C provide a slightly water repellent interface which protects formwork and ensures a uniform colour and texture in the cast concrete.
Usage
Sika® Separol® W-398 C provides clean and easy stripping of formwork particular on to steel and timber formwork.
Sika® Separol® W-398 C can be diluted with 5-9 parts of water content until homogeneous milky suit to actual condition prior to apply on formwork. In addition to prevent adhesion of concrete to formwork, Sika® Separol® W-398 C will allow air to escape from the interface during concrete placing and vibration. The release of air minimizes surface blemishes and blow holes resulting in a substantial reduction in remedial cost.
