Uses of Nitotile GP

• Permanent fixing of ceramic tiles

• Fixing insulating and acoustic boards (polystyrene-based)

• Not suitable for gypsum boards (use alternative solutions for gypsum-based substrates)

• For submerged conditions, use Nitotile UW.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation

• Ensure the surface is sound, clean, and dust-free.

• Remove grease, oil, and loose particles with Fosroc Chemical Degreaser.

• Avoid using directly on gypsum or gypsum boards.

2. Mixing

• Mix 25 kg Nitotile GP with 6.0 – 6.5 liters of water.

• Add powder to water and mix using a slow-speed drill with paddle.

• Allow to stand for 5–10 minutes, then remix.

• Do not add excess water.

3. Application

• Spread at 2–3 mm thickness using a notched trowel.

• Fix tiles firmly with a twisting motion.

• Only apply to small areas (up to 1 m²) at a time.

4. Joint & Finishing

• Maintain a 2 mm gap between tiles.

• Clean excess adhesive immediately.

• Start joint grouting after 24 hours using Nitotile Grout.

Coverage & Yield

• One 25 kg bag mixed with 6.25 liters water yields ~18 liters adhesive.

• Coverage: 6–9 m² per bag at 2–3 mm thickness (depending on substrate & tile type).

Packaging & Storage

• Supplied in 25 kg bags

• Store in a cool, dry place

• Shelf life: 6 months in unopened condition
