Bitulac primer is a waterproofing bituminous primer with special bitumen and organic solvents. It forms
a uniform waterproofing black membrane highly resistant to low concentration acids and bases, unaffected
by subsoil minerals and less resistant to organic solvents, oils and strong chemical detergents. Bitulac primer
is a strong primer. It has a high adhesion and penetration on all surfaces. It has a strong bonding effect
and fast drying of the solvents permits the bonding of bituminous membranes in short time after application.
IMPLEMENTATION: Bitulac primer is used as a primer for bonding
of bituminous waterproofing membranes, anticorrosion protection of
metallic surfaces. Compatible with, polyurethane, concrete, light concrete, bricks, plasterboard, metallic and wooden surfaces. Non compatible
with polystyrene, due to existence of solvents.
APPLICATION: The surface must be free of dust or other waste materials.
It can be applied with a bristle brush, paint roller or airless spraying
devices. For bonding of bituminous waterproofing membranes apply
one coat. bitulac primer is a low viscosity product and therefore no further
dilution is recommended. Rusted surfaces should be brushed and
cleaned thoroughly, before use. Tools can be cleaned with petrol or oil.
