AquaArm WPU 1K is a rigid cementitious acrylic based waterproofing coating. AquaArm WPU 1K is made of acrylic polymer, quartz sand, Portland cement and additives. It does not contain any material, which may cause negative effects on reinforcement or concrete. AquaArm WPU 1K hardens to a rigid impervious layer.

Uses:

• Waterproofing on concrete, masonry and plaster, for
  interior and exterior use, in the following areas of application:
• Civil engineering: Earth covered constructions, sewage
  works, water tanks, swimming pools, heating pipes, pits etc.
• Building construction: Cellars, potable water tanks.
• Water construction: Storage lake walls, pools, tunnels, sluices.
• Older building: Not protected against posterior
• Constructions: Moisture and soaking

Application Methodology:

Step no 1: Surface preparation
The surface must be of load bearing capability, largely plain, free of pockets, cracks and ridges, free of foreign matter, and free of oil, grease, paint or bitumen. Cement paste and lose mortar have to be abraded. The surface has to be in saturated surface dry condition. The brick joints shall be sealed with polymer modified mortar (admixing ReArm SBR 45). During the application and the time of hardening avoid large surface ponding. Coarse pored surfaces cause a higher consumption.

Step no 2: Mixing
25 kg AquaArm 1K and 6.7 Lit tap water. Mixing time: 3 minute

Step no 3: Instruction for use
AquaArm 1K is supplied in powder form. It has to be mixed on site with clean water in a clean vessel until it becomes a workable mass that can be brushed. The surface should be pre-treated in the necessary way. Application must be ensured in several coats at a consumption of 1-2 kg/m2 per coat. 2 number of coats are recommended. The second coat should be applied when the 1st coat is completely dried and hardened (preferably next day). Green AquaArm WPU 1K coats have to be protected against direct sun influence, air, rain and frost.
Cleaning: Cleaning to be done in green state with water, dry material is difficult to be remove

Storage and Shelf Life:
Dry, 12 months in originally closed packs, opened packs
are to be sealed and be used up as soon as possible.
